Village Pigadia - Karpathos

The modern town of Pigadia, the capital of Karpathos, is the center of year-round activity. All government offices are centered here. In the summer, during the tourist season there are numerous daytime and nighttime activities. Many small shops, restaurants and supermarkets operate during the day and evening hours. Many tavernas and clubs operate till about 4 o'clock in the morning.

Village Olimpos

Olympos is a village of exceptional beauty, located 58 km northwest of Pigadia, the capital of Karpathos. The road crosses traditional villages, beautiful green valleys and verdant cliffs until one reaches the beautiful settlement that lies on the slopes of a mountain.

Village Diafani

Diafani Village Karpathos: Diafani is the second most important port of Karpathos. It is located on the northern side of the island, 67 km north of Pigadia and about 10 km east of the beautiful Olympos village

Village Spoa

Taking the asphalt motorway from the capital of Karpathos, Pigadia, with northern direction from the Eastern part of the island you will find a magical way that combines laced beaches, mountains and trees. Reaching roughly the centre of the island you will meet the mountainous village of Spoa, having for view the open sea.

VillageMesochori

Mesochori is situated in the middle of the island and in order to get there you follow one of the most beautiful routes through a dense pinewood forest.
Mesochori Is an incredibly figurative town, with a lot of nice people. One of the best experiences we had on the island, was one evening in Messochori with a delicious meal, while watching one of the nicest sunset's we've seen.

Village Menetes

Built as an eagle nest, in the rocks Menetes enjoy the view to the bight of "Vrondis", where Pigadia are located.
“Tradition wants the rock where Menetes is built to be the Titan Menoitios him self, son of Iapetos who Jupiter through a thunder and turned him into rock".

Village Arkasa

16km from the town is the coastal village Arkasa. It is built in a verdurous location and impresses with its green nature, beautiful beaches and important historic,

Village Finiki

Finiki village, well known for all the fish restaurants and tavernas, and its history durin the period of the second world war.
Finiki is on the south-west coast of Karpathos island. It is 8 km away from the airport and 17 km from the capital of the island Pigadia. Finiki is situated 2 km away from the village of Arkasa.

Village Piles

One of Karpathos 12 villages, is Pyles. The smaller, demographicly, village, built in the western side of the island, has a panoramic view to the neighbouring historical island of Kasos and the mountains of Sitia.
It is litteraly drowned in the green from it's many crop fields and each evening, one can enjoy there a splendid sunset!

Village Othos

Othos is often lost in the clouds, as it is the highest village of Karpathos in 510 metres altitude. This makes its amphitheatric built houses to be allocated in a panoramic view.
Traditional houses exist in the all villages, but here the visitor can admire the stone made painted floorings, wooden "sofas", the embroideries and the other local and Karpathian specialities in a quiet atmosphere.
One of these houses functions as museum.

Village Volada

Volada is situated right next to Aperi. Protected by Virgin Mary "Plagia", Volada looks like a white stroke on a green canvas.
The houses of Volada, the white small streets and the full of flowers courtyards, are surrounded and protected by the ruins of three castels, build in three different seasons.
